Engineering Extension

Engineering Extension serves the citizens of Kansas by providing technical assistance, training, information, and outreach for the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering from the 3rd floor of the Unger Complex Tower, 2323 Anderson Ave., Suite 300.  After 36 years in Ward Hall, we moved to a new location in 2016 with training and conference room space.  

K-State Engineering Extension is the independent leader in technical assistance, training and outreach for the College of Engineering, disseminating knowledge to citizens of Kansas and the nation in service of the land-grant mission.

Our expertise focuses on the issues of pollution prevention, environmental compliance, radon and energy.
 
One hundred percent of our work is funded through grants and contracts with state, federal, foundation and private entities. A history of successful performance has led to sustained funding of our programs, with up to 24 contracts and over $4 million in current sources and training revenues.
 
The people who staff Engineering Extension bring more than 100 combined years of education and experience to their work in serving our clients and citizens technical assistance needs.
