Institution-Scale Heating: The Tenhult Agriculture School

According to the Swedish Heating Boilers and Burners Association,about 800 pellet burners in the 25-300-kW range have been installed in Sweden.  The 200-kW boiler at the Tenhult Agricultural School central heating plant has been retrofitted with a pellet burner manufactured by Sahlin EcoTec.

Pellets are dumped into the storage bin through the port at left; the door permits inspection.  Fuel delivery is inconspicuous.
