Image of David CarterDavid Carter is a Pollution Prevention Specialist and the Project Director for the Summer Institute 2015. He will lead the exploration of the ISO 14000 EMS guidelines and is excited to see how the discussions will be influenced by a variety of backgrounds.

 

 

Kristina Snyder is a Professional Landscape Architect and Administrative Director for the Summer Institute 2015. She is excited to meet the group and can't wait to share her experience and learn how others tackle these issues.  

 

 

Chance serves as the instructor for Culture and Context in Leadership and Theories of Nonprofit Leadership elective course. He looks forward to meeting the European Student Leaders and exploring the cross cultural nature of leadership in environmental stewardship.

I'm working on a Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership at the University of Northern Colorado. Community engagement, rugby, and the outdoors are a few of my passions.

 

 

Image of Mauricio CalderaMauricio Caldera. I'm a Senior in Psychology with a passion for arts and learning. Typically I enjoy outdoor activities like cycling and paintball. I can't wait to get to know all the different types of culture that SIES students will bring, let's learn!

 

 

Benjamin Carter. I am currently double majoring in history and political science. I enjoy reading and playing jazz music on the saxophone. As a Kansas native, I am really excited to see the United States and Kansas through the eyes of people new to the area.

Taylor is a freshly graduated K-State alumna who received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and Microbiology with a minor in Leadership Studies and will soon be headed to Kansas City to begin medical school at the University of Kansas. This summer she is particularly looking forward to barbecues, bonfires, and building friendships with new best buddies (aka program participants). She hopes all of them are just as excited as she is and ready to have a great summer together!

 

Becca Renteria. I am a history and Secondary Ed (social studies) double major. I enjoy cooking, running, and planning my upcoming wedding! I am excited for my second summer with the program and meeting all of the new students!
