Kansas Department of Health and Environment
Kansas Department of Health and Environment works to protect public health and the environment through programs involving public water supplies, industrial and hazardous waste, wastewater treatment systems, reduction of nonpoint source pollution, and others. Programs such as the Pollution Prevention Program provide the regulated community throughout the state with technical assistance with remaining in compliance with state regulations.
Topeka Capitol
In the capitol city of Kansas, tour the glass floors of the Kansas State Library, look up at the Capitol Dome from the main floor, and check out where the House of Representatives, as well as the Senate, meet. Finished after 37 years of construction, it is definitely a sight to see. Please wear nice pants and shoes, and shirts with sleeves.
